Supply Chain Strategy Specialist

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially driven Supply Chain Strategy Specialist to support the optimization and transformation of its end-to-end supply chain operations. The role will focus on strategic planning, procurement optimization, inventory management, logistics efficiency, supplier performance, and continuous improvement initiatives to support business growth and operational excellence.
Key Specifications:
Supply Chain Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Analyze current supply chain processes and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Support long-term planning for procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution operations.
• Drive supply chain transformation initiatives and best practices.

Procurement & Supplier Management

• Evaluate supplier performance and develop strategic supplier relationships.
• Identify sourcing opportunities to improve quality, service levels, and cost efficiency.
• Support contract negotiations and supplier selection processes.
• Monitor procurement KPIs and supplier compliance.

Inventory & Demand Planning

• Optimize inventory levels to balance product availability and working capital requirements.
• Develop forecasting and demand planning models.
• Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory.
• Ensure inventory accuracy across warehouse locations.

Logistics & Distribution Optimization

• Review transportation and logistics networks to improve efficiency.
• Analyze freight costs, lead times, and service levels.
• Collaborate with logistics providers and internal stakeholders to streamline operations.
• Support regional supply chain projects across UAE and GCC operations.

Data Analytics & Reporting

• Develop supply chain dashboards and performance reports.
• Analyze KPIs related to procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
• Present strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Support digitalization and automation initiatives within the supply chain function.

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's Degree or Supply Chain Certification (CSCP, CPSM, CIPS, APICS, Lean Six Sigma) is preferred.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or Supply Chain Strategy roles.
• Strong experience in supply chain optimization, strategic sourcing, and inventory management.
• Experience within manufacturing, industrial, engineering, electrical, electronics, or distribution sectors is highly preferred.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
• Advanced Excel, Power BI, and supply chain analytics capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.
