About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Control professional to support the Subsidiaries Financial Control function and strengthen financial reporting, accounting governance, and consolidation processes across the Group.

The role will be responsible for ensuring consistent application of Group accounting policies and standards across subsidiaries, improving financial reporting processes, supporting timely month-end and quarter-end closures, and providing technical accounting guidance to finance teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial control, group reporting, consolidation, technical accounting, and subsidiary finance oversight, with the ability to work effectively across multiple finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and implement the Group Finance Manual, ensuring consistent application of accounting policies across subsidiaries.
  • Standardize accounting treatments for revenue recognition, depreciation, accruals, provisions, intercompany transactions, and other key accounting areas.
  • Monitor subsidiaries' financial reporting and compliance with Group accounting standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and enforce monthly and quarterly financial closing calendars to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Design and maintain standardized reporting templates, reporting packages, and financial submission requirements for subsidiaries.
  • Review trial balances, reconciliations, supporting schedules, and closing packs for completeness, accuracy, and consolidation readiness.
  • Validate intercompany transactions and coordinate with subsidiaries to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and accounting matters.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and operational efficiency across subsidiary finance functions.
  • Monitor audit findings and tax-related risks, ensuring corrective actions are implemented within agreed timelines.
  • Coordinate communication and financial reporting requirements between CMC and Center3 finance teams.
  • Prepare the consolidation Trial Balance (TB) and support the Group's overall financial closing and consolidation process.
  • Work closely with subsidiary finance teams to improve reporting quality, controls, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in Financial Control, Group Reporting, Consolidation, or Subsidiary Finance.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, and technical accounting principles.
  • Experience managing month-end and quarter-end closing processes.
  • Strong knowledge of intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
  • Experience reviewing financial statements, trial balances, reconciliations, and consolidation packs.
  • Strong Excel and financial reporting skills; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with finance teams across multiple entities.
