Job Summary
We are seeking a regulatory compliance professional experienced in banking regulatory frameworks, risk management and Basel implementation. The role will support the retail banking business in maintaining regulatory compliance and effective risk governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor regulatory compliance frameworks for retail banking.
• Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into policies, controls and procedures.
• Support Basel framework implementation and integration with risk management processes.
• Monitor regulatory risk across retail products, lending, deposits and customer-facing activities.
• Conduct compliance assessments, gap analyses and regulatory reviews.
• Coordinate with risk, internal audit, legal and business teams on regulatory matters.
• Maintain regulatory registers, compliance monitoring plans and management reporting.
• Track remediation of regulatory findings and escalate material compliance risks.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; professional certification is preferred where applicable.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks, Basel requirements and risk management.
• Relevant banking or financial services experience with direct exposure to the functional area.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of banking governance, controls, risk and regulatory requirements relevant to the role.

Preferred Industry Exposure
Retail Banking and financial services, with direct exposure to regulatory compliance, relevant banking products/processes and applicable regulatory requirements.
