Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements
Experience Requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience in:
- Statutory Reporting
- Financial Accounting
- External Audit
- Financial Reporting
- Prior Big 4 audit experience highly preferred
- Experience with group reporting and financial consolidation
Technical Skills
- Preparation and review of:
- Balance Sheets
- Income Statements
- Cash Flow Statements
- Financial Statement Disclosures
- Strong IFRS application and compliance knowledge
- Group consolidation and reporting package experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (mandatory)
- PowerPoint proficiency
- Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools (Oracle preferred)
Reporting & Compliance Experience
- Review of standalone financial statements
- Statutory reporting and regulatory compliance
- Balance sheet schedule review and analysis
- Financial statement disclosure reviews
- Audit coordination and stakeholder management
- Identification and resolution of reporting and compliance issues
- Monitoring and implementation of accounting standard updates
