Manager / Sr. Manager - Retail Banking Finance & FP&A

Job Summary
We are seeking a finance professional to support financial operations, reporting, accounting and FP&A within a retail banking environment. The role will focus on management reporting, financial performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls across retail banking products and channels.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting for retail banking business lines.
• Perform financial accounting, reconciliations, month-end close and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning for retail banking portfolios.
• Analyze product profitability, revenue, cost-to-income and key business performance indicators.
• Develop financial models for pricing, product profitability, branch/channel performance and business cases.
• Partner with business, risk, operations and treasury teams to explain financial movements and support decisions.
• Ensure reporting aligns with accounting policies, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Improve management dashboards and automate recurring reporting where appropriate

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Information Security, Computer Science or a related discipline, as applicable.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, financial accounting, FP&A and financial modeling.
• Relevant experience within banking or financial services, with direct exposure to the functional area.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, reporting and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of banking risk, governance, controls and regulatory requirements relevant to the role.
• Professional certifications relevant to the function (e.g., CA/ACCA/CFA/FRM/CIA/CAMS/CISA/CISM/CISSP) are preferred where applicable.

Preferred Industry Exposure
Retail Banking, banking/financial services, with direct exposure to finance and relevant banking products, processes and regulatory requirements.
