Manager / Senior Manager – Financial Accounting & Reporting

Job Summary
We are seeking a banking finance professional with strong financial accounting and reporting experience, including reconciliations, month-end close, management reporting and FP&A support across retail banking activities.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial accounting and month-end closing activities for retail banking portfolios.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and supporting schedules.
• Perform account reconciliations, variance analysis and financial controls.
• Support AR/AP, accruals, provisions, reclassifications and other accounting adjustments.
• Provide FP&A support through budgeting, forecasting and business performance analysis.
• Develop financial models and analytical reports for products, branches and channels.
• Coordinate with business, operations, risk and treasury teams on financial matters.
• Ensure reporting accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; professional certification is preferred where applicable.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, financial accounting, FP&A and/or financial modeling, as applicable.
• Relevant banking or financial services experience with direct exposure to the functional area.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of banking governance, controls, risk and regulatory requirements relevant to the role.

Preferred Industry Exposure
Retail Banking banking and financial services, with direct exposure to finance / accounting, relevant banking products/processes and applicable regulatory requirements.
