Manager / Senior Manager – Cybersecurity & Information Security

Job Summary
We are seeking a cybersecurity professional with banking experience and strong exposure to SAMA and/or National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) frameworks. The role will support cybersecurity governance, risk management and security controls across retail banking environments.
Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor cybersecurity governance aligned with SAMA and NCA requirements.
• Assess information security risks across retail banking systems, applications, channels and third parties.
• Support implementation and monitoring of SAMA Cybersecurity Framework requirements.
• Conduct security risk assessments, control testing and remediation tracking.
• Coordinate vulnerability management, incident response and security monitoring activities.
• Support cybersecurity policies, standards, risk registers and management reporting.
• Work with technology, risk, compliance and internal audit teams on security assurance.
• CISO certification or equivalent cybersecurity governance certification is strongly preferred.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Information Security, Computer Science or a related discipline, as applicable.
• Hands-on experience with SAMA and/or NCA cybersecurity requirements; CISO certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Relevant experience within banking or financial services, with direct exposure to the functional area.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, reporting and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of banking risk, governance, controls and regulatory requirements relevant to the role.
• Professional certifications relevant to the function (e.g., CA/ACCA/CFA/FRM/CIA/CAMS/CISA/CISM/CISSP) are preferred where applicable.

Preferred Industry Exposure
Retail Banking, banking/financial services, with direct exposure to cybersecurity and relevant banking products, processes and regulatory requirements.
