The Finance Manager is responsible for providing senior financial leadership, commercial insight, and governance support across the business. The role acts as a strategic finance partner to Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Success, and senior management, translating financial and operational data into actionable recommendations that improve profitability, strengthen controls, support sustainable growth, and enable informed decision-making.
Key Accountabilities
Lead finance support for the business, ensuring financial plans, forecasts, and performance reviews are aligned with strategic priorities.
Advise senior management on commercial risks, investment decisions, pricing strategies, and operational trade-offs.
Translate financial results into clear executive-level insights and recommended actions.
Own budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and long-range financial planning.
Develop robust financial models covering revenue, gross margin, cost-to-serve, working capital, and scenario analysis.
Prepare monthly business reviews, management reports, executive presentations, and board-level financial packs.
Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Customer Success teams to improve financial outcomes and strengthen decision-making.
Support RFQs, tenders, renewals, and customer negotiations through pricing analysis, margin assessment, and benchmarking.
Challenge assumptions constructively and promote accountability for revenue, costs, profitability, and service performance.
Ensure timely, accurate, and policy-compliant financial reporting, including revenue recognition, billing validation, accruals, and margin analysis.
Strengthen internal controls, governance processes, and compliance with applicable accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory stakeholders as required.
Identify and drive initiatives to reduce transportation, labour, fleet, warehousing, fulfilment, and overhead costs.
Monitor operational KPIs including cost per shipment, cost per unit, delivery productivity, warehouse productivity, utilisation, and customer contribution margin.
Promote automation, process improvement, and revenue leakage controls to improve profitability and billing accuracy.
