Finance Controller

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee the organization's accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL) functions, leading the finance team, ensuring timely month-end closures, and supporting budgeting and financial reporting activities.

• Lead and manage the AR, AP, and GL teams to ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations.
• Oversee and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare management reports and financial statements.
• Support the budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors and support external and internal audit activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and financial efficiencies.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the finance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of accounting and finance experience, including experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience managing AR, AP, and GL functions.
• Proven experience with month-end closing, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
